At the HARS GLOBAL booth, we presented information on app marketing for overseas markets and support for expanding into global markets.
What stood out most was the high level of interest in the topic of “how to grow Japanese-originated services overseas.”
We received inquiries from visitors across a wide range of industries—including not only apps but also SaaS and web services—and it became clear that many are beginning to look beyond the domestic market and toward overseas markets.

At the booth, there was a lively exchange of questions and opinions on topics such as:
・Specific methods for acquiring international users
・Differences between marketing approaches in Japan and overseas
・How to utilize ASO (App Store Optimization)
・Strategies for international expansion on a limited budget
The strong response to the theme of “Expanding from Japan to the World” reaffirmed to us that the demand for global expansion is definitely on the rise.

During the session, I took the stage alongside Mr. Shun Fujiyoshi, Executive Officer and Chief Gaming Architect at KLab Inc., and Mr. Noriyuki Yamagishi, CEO of NextNinja Inc., to discuss the topic “The Truth About Overseas Game Marketing: Insights from a Producer Who Led a Global Hit.”
The session covered:
・The importance of understanding overseas users
・Tips for conquering the global market
・Practical examples of user communication
・Examples of management utilizing AI
・Methods for replacing functions in game development and operations using AI
and other insights cultivated in real-world settings were shared.

The session covered not only theory but also real-world examples, and participants shared feedback such as:
“There were many insights that can only be gained from the field,”
and
“I gained a better understanding of how AI development and operations impact careers.”
Thank you very much to everyone who came out despite the inclement weather. What struck me once again through this event is that venturing into overseas markets is no longer the exclusive domain of a few large corporations.
Thanks to advances in AI and increasingly sophisticated marketing techniques, the environment is becoming more conducive to reaching overseas users with fewer resources than ever before. I also shared examples of AI replacing not only marketing but also game development, operations, and even management functions.
Through these developments, I believe the tasks that remain for us humans will be concentrated around making judgments and decisions, constantly refining our intuition for decision-making, and embedding this knowledge within the company.
Going forward, as AI becomes more widespread, intermediate processes will be disrupted. As a result, the question arises: how can we acquire the embodied knowledge and intuitive sense of judgment that senior staff have spent years acquiring through trial and error? What kind of processes should we incorporate into talent development to help employees acquire this embodied knowledge and intuitive sense of judgment? I believe these issues will become key organizational challenges in the medium term.
HARS GLOBAL will continue to support the growth of Japan-based services and apps by connecting insights from both Japan and abroad.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who visited our booth and participated in our sessions.
